It’s amazing what you can do with a few small decorations, some tea lights and decorative glassware! We decided to experiment with fun ways to decorate your home for the Festive Season using only simple objects that most people will have around the house. These are perfect for even the most time-poor.

Materials:

  • assorted baubles
  • round tray
  • vase
  • fairy lights

Time to create:

5-10 minutes- depending on how tangled your fairy lights are! :)

Why we love it:

Just look at those gorgeous shadows cast on the walls by the fairy lights! They make the baubles sparkle and glow with very little effort.

 Materials:

  • baubles
  • crystal glasses (any wine glass or glass tumbler assortment will do)
  • tea light candles

Time to create:

2 minutes.

Why we love it:

This arrangement is absolutely stunning, especially when the little candles are lit! It’s very easy to make with anything you have lying around the house, and has the ability to be as elaborate or simple as you want. Check out the images to see how we’ve added to the centerpiece with an extra bauble and two more glasses.

 Materials:

  • glass bowl
  • assorted baubles
  • upturned wine glass
  • tea light candle

Time to create:

3 minutes (we had a bit of a struggle keeping the upturned glass level!)

Why we love it:

Easy and portable, you can pick up this entire arrangement and move it to different surfaces depending on where you’d like to showcase it. It’s also a great way to show off a decorative bowl or plate that you love.

Bonus:

We found this stunning wreath made from cinnamon sticks on babble.com. Such a sweet idea, which has the added bonus of smelling amazing! Simply grab a hot glue gun and get creating!

TIP: For an extra festive look, try dipping the ends of the cinnamon sticks in gold glitter.
